International Gemological Institute North and South America is an independent laboratory for testing and evaluating gemstones and fine jewelry. We have locations in New York, Los Angeles and Toronto and employs a total of 71 personal. International Gemological Institute, North and South America, is a member of the Responsible Jewellery Council (RJC). The RJC is a standard-setting organization that has been established to reinforce consumer confidence in the jewelry industry by promoting responsible ethical, human rights, social and environmental practices throughout the jewelry supply chain. The RJC has developed a common platform of standards for the jewelry supply chain and credible mechanisms for verifying responsible business practices through third party auditing.
